The largest indoor theme park ever built has long past the “dream” stage. It is now a tangible reality and everyone will be able to see it and experience its thrills for the first time on November 4, 2010.
With a total surface area of 2,200,000 square feet, Ferrari World has an impressive roof designed by Benoy Architects. He drew his inspiration from the Ferrari GT, more exactly from its side profile. Of course, the roof is by far the least important attraction of the park.
Under the huge red roof visitors will find the fastest roller-coaster in the world, the Formula Rossa. This machine can reach mind-blowing speeds of up to 150 mph. After experiencing this, you might want to take it a little slower and take a virtual trip in the renowned Ferrari factory in Maranello. But if it’s all about the adrenaline to you, then the G-Force tower is what you should be looking for next in the first Ferrari theme park.
Among other attractions there we mention the V12 flume ride into a 12 cylinder engine, the Scuderia Challenge racing simulation, the Junior Grand Prix kids racing and the Galleria Ferrari, a breathtaking display of Ferrari cars. But there is more and you should see it for yourself!
