Exquisite Chopard Mille Miglia GTS Chronograph

The latest member to join the Mille Miglia GTS line of timepieces by Chopard is the Mille Miglia GTS Chronograph, which was unveiled during the 2015 Baselworld event. Honoring the renowned open road endurance race named Mille Miglia that used to take place in Italy, this timepiece features the same in-house movement that animates its older siblings. We’re talking about the Chopard three hand Automatic watch and the Power Control watch, both of which are powered by a movement with 25 jewels and a 48-hour power reserve.

The GTS Chronograph distinguishes itself from these two pieces through its elegance and luxuriousness. It flaunts a matte velvet black dial as well as white and red transfers complemented by rhodium or gilt-made appliqués, minutes hands, seconds hands and facetted hours. The case comes in 18k rose gold or stainless steel and features an AR-coated sapphire crystal at the front as well as a sapphire display at the back. For a touch of exclusivity, the sapphire display at the back of the case received the following inscriptions: “Mille Miglia” and “Brescia > Roma > Brescia.” The strap of the watch is made out of black rubber or stainless steel.
