Presented for the first time during the Baselworld 2015 event, Bulgari’s Tourbillon Saphir Ultranero watch is a gorgeous masterpiece that impresses with a unique design. Its primary visual highlight comes in the form of something called “Transparent Black Sapphire Magic”, which is based on the Super-LumiNova substance.
The substance was inserted directly into the case in order to act as hour markers, and it was also placed on the tips of the hands for improved visibility in low-light conditions. The vibrant shade of green contrasts beautifully with the deep black and transparent backdrop of the dial. The watch comes with a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coated titanium case that’s being held together by screws. Protecting the dial from the elements is a sapphire crystal, which is located on the outer face of the case. In order to ensure a plus of transparency, Bulgari’s experts decided to skeletonize the tourbillon carriage bridge and barrel drum.
The Tourbillon Saphir Ultranero by Bulgari is limited to just 30 units, each boasting a price tag of $210,000.
