Vertu Ti Ferrari Limited Edition is the result of a new collaboration between luxury mobile phone manufacturer Vertu and automotive iconFerrari. The two high-end brands have collaborated before in the past, and every time they did so something amazing came out.
This new limited edition handset is no exception, and we are sure the well-heeled will fall in love with it on the spot. Production will end after the 2013th unit, thus giving only a small number of people the exclusive privilege of owning one Ti Ferrari phone.
Inspired by the F12 Berlinetta, the luxury gadget features DLC coating for extra resistance, just like Ferrari’s transmission and engine components do. The eye catching material on the phone’s pillow is Alutex, a very light composite weave that Ferrari uses for its interiors and which Vertu has managed to paint in the perfect shade of red using a special in-house technique.
For a very comfortable grip and an extra luxurious feel, the back of the phone was wrapped in red and black Ferrari leather, treated to withstand the challenges that come with the frequent use of any mobile phone. Connoisseurs will immediately notice the Ferrari-style hexagonal screws in the back plate and the rounded camera housing which is clearly inspired by F12 Berlinetta’s tail lights.
