Nixon is a reputable company that was founded in 1997 in Encinitas, California, United States, and it specializes in manufacturing accessories, apparel, headphones, portable speakers and wristwatches. Speaking of watches, one of the brand’s most reliable and soon-to-be famous timepieces is the recently launched Tangent, which was created using a mix of G10 and stainless steel materials.
The watch comes in 3 different versions called matte black/surplus, black and all black, and it features a price tag of just $450. That’s a cheap price to pay for a sturdy timepiece that boasts an analog tide dial, a tough mineral crystal and a special thermoset epoxy laminate bezel with glass reinforcing. As you can probably tell by now, this watch was built specifically for the adventurous types that enjoy practicing water sports, especially for surfers. Consequently, the Nixon Tangent features a 9 o’clock crown that is meant to improve the wearer’s comfort. Other noteworthy details include a Swiss Made quartz 3-hand movement as well as luminous hour markers and hands, a stainless steel bracelet and a 47mm case that ensures a water resistance of 656 feet.
