The first time that Evo Yachts thought about creating a speedboat with a transformable hull was back in 2011, and while that concept was successful in its own way, the company is now looking invest more time and effort into the idea. The Evo 43 speedboat is a unique and elegant vessel that comes with a very interesting feature: its sides open up along its stern quarters in order to transform the cockpit into a more spacious platform.
Boasting a black hull complemented by all-teak decks, the speedboat’s deck spans 270 square feet when it is in open position. That’s a 40% space increase when compared to the original configuration, which is impressive to say the least, but even more deck space can be obtained by removing the modular seats altogether. As far as power is concerned, this vessel is equipped with a pair of Volvo Penta IPS 600 engines that ensure a top speed of 38 knots.
