Elegant And Minimalistic Audi Prologue Concept

It’s a well-known fact that concept cars are very important because they serve as great sources of inspiration for future projects, especially when we’re talking about the giants of the automotive industry such as Audi or Mercedes-Benz. The Prologue Concept by Audi was designed by the company’s head of design, Marc Lichte, and it offers a glimpse into a possible future for the famed A4, A6 and A8 models.

We’re talking about a two-door four-wheeler that’s meant to take on the stunning S-Class Coupe by Mercedes-Benz. This “signature car for Audi” features a bold, almost menacing look that’s matched by an impressive powertrain based on 4.0-litre TFSI turbocharged gasoline engine that’s good for 553 lb ft of torque and 597 horsepower. This means that the Audi Prologue Concept is able to perform a 0-62 mph sprint in 3.7 seconds, which is definitely quite a performance.

With a weight of 4,365.2 lb and a fuel consumption rate of 27.4 US mpg, this is a relatively economical car considering its impressive performance capabilities. Exterior highlights include 22-inch wheels, a pearl effect paintjob and a pair of chiseled headlights that can turn heads in an instant. Inside, we find a minimalistic and elegant design based on a virtual cockpit borrowed from the Audi TT.
