The concept of a “perfect house” varies from individual to individual. Some dream about large, palatial residences, while others want to live in cozy, comfortable homes that incorporate nature and flaunt eco-friendly facilities. The Cielomar Residence in Papagayo Peninsula, Costa Rica is definitely someone’s dream-come-true. It was sketched out by Barnes Coy Architects & SARCO Architects, and it boasts a layered wooden beam construction that never fails to catch the eye.
Its décor scheme includes contemporary pendant lights, and neutral colors, to say nothing of its simple yet modern furniture selection and gorgeous infinity swimming pool. Right above the main poolside patio, there’s a long deck shaped exactly like a catwalk. This deck allows the residents to admire the beautiful natural water that encircles the house while relaxing at an inviting seating area. Inside, a staircase with seemingly floating steps links the different levels and ensures access to an upstairs dining area flanked by floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors.
