Famous American radio host Don Imus, together with BiddingForGood are preparing an online auction that will take place simultaneously with Imus’ annual Radiothon. The purpose is to raise money for the Imus Ranch for Kids with Cancer, CJ Foundation for SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) and Tomorrow’s Children Fund. The auction will take place between May 2-10 and it will be hosted by Imus himself.

Many fun and special items will be sold at the auction, including an Imus Ranch Gibson Guitar signed by Imus (leading bid $5,100), a baseball signed by Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Jonny Cash, and Waylon Jennings – The Highwaymen – (opening bid $25,000), a framed caricature of Don Imus and Neil Cavuto (opening bid at $5,000) and even a Caribbean vacation at Tranquility Bay Antigua for four days and three nights. Among other similar unique items, there is also a baseball signed by Pete Rose and Paul Hornung and which boasts an opening bid of $100,000.

The Imus Ranch in Ribera, New Mexico, is an authentic cattle ranch which offers unforgettable experiences for children who suffer from cancer and severe blood-related diseases. This is also a great place for children who have lost their siblings because of SIDS to come and have fun while socializing with other kids. Talking about the ranch, Don Imus said Our objective is to restore their dignity and confidence by treating them as normal, healthy children, giving them real work to do“.
