If a blinged-up iPhone or Blackberry no longer satisfies your need for touchscreen opulence, you may want to take a look at the new luxury Touch Phone from Dior. Running on Android operating system, the phone is called Dior Mother-of-Pearl and has a 3.2-inch screen with 854 x 480 resolution. It has a 5-megapixel camera, a microSD memory card slot, Bluetooth, infrared and an entire range of connectivity platforms.
To justify the steep prices (they start at £85,000), Dior added plenty of luxurious touches to the smartphone. Silver, platinum and many different precious stones adorn the phone, which in turn is crafted from fine materials such as steel, gold, sapphire crystal and, of course, mother-of-pearl.
