When the most expensive painting in the world was sold at Christie’s in May, everybody was very curious to find out who the extravagant buyer was. It was speculated that famous Russian oligarch, Roman Abramovich was the man everybody was looking for, but no one confirmed the rumor.
The latest news however indicates that the painting has been lent to Tate Modern museum in UK by the private collector who currently owns it and who lives in London. Abramovich seems to match the description pretty well, as he is famous for collecting art and he also lives in the capital. Of course Chelsea’s owner can’t be the only private collector in London, but still…
