A company that goes by the name of VSSL has decided to create a survival cache that’s slightly better when compared to conventional offerings, and we’re going to tell you exactly what makes their product so special. Dubbed Mini Cache, this product has a durable aluminum case shaped like a cylinder, and it offers enough space for VSSL’s own hockey-puck shaped prepackaged survival kits.
These kits include everything from fire starting gear and first aid products, both of which can be potentially life saving depending on the situation. The top of the cache comes with a compass, while the handle doubles up as a carabiner. There’s also an LED flood-style lantern, which boasts a static and an SOS beacon mode (batteries included).
Definitely not a bad choice for just $65, wouldn’t you agree?
