Denis Guseynov, the creative force behind viral Fake air Yeezy, has announced the upcoming release of his latest collection, Paindigital0000.
In collaboration with top influencers in streetwear, Guseynov promises to captivate the fashion world with its neo-cyberpunk aesthetics and rebellious ethos of the early 90s.
As a true outlier in the fashion landscape, in his new collection Guseynov is focusing on scandalous concepts, and provocative styles that resonate with GenZ streetwear fashionistas.
“The collection is inspired by the corporate culture in iconic movies such as American Psycho or The Matrix, and the absurdity of our existence,” Guseynov said. “Most foundational concepts that shape our world are inherently deceptive. As a designer, I consider it my responsibility to highlight the illusion that we live in.”
The Paindigital0000 first drop features a limited edition of eight unisex items. Guseynov’s collaborators include Phoenix Joy Divizn, a multidisciplinary artist and videographer known for his unique style, and other influential figures such as Sober Yung Walter and Lil Jupiter.
Guseynov’s journey into the fashion world started as a self-taught graphic designer, gaining recognition through collaborations with underground rock bands.
With LA as his base, Guseynov leverages the city’s vibrant fashion scene, working with local manufacturers who share his commitment to quality and innovation.
About Denis Guseynov
Denis Guseynov disrupted the LA’s fashion scene in late 2023 with his collection Fake air Yeezy, viral replicas of Kanye West’s iconic sneakers. This limited edition sold out via a website that drew inspiration from malware aesthetics, featuring the background from Kim Kardashian’s sex tape. Guseynov’s innovative approach to fashion, rooted in streetwear and avant-garde, continues to challenge the industry’s norms. The launch of the Paindigital0000 collection marks a new chapter in the evolution of streetwear design.
We had a chat with Denis about his vision for the collection and where he sees his career heading.
What makes your collection stand out?
Well, it’s all about blending the vibes of modern tech, futuristic cityscapes, and cultural shifts into fashion. Think sleek, anti-establishment clothing that’s perfect for rebellious GenZs. We’ve basically taken futuristic elements and mixed them up with today’s fashion trends to create something totally unique.
What’s the deal with bootleg in GenZ fashion?
Well, think of it this way: traditional fashion has always been dominated by big-name designers and luxury brands. But bootleg fashion? It’s all about flipping the script. It’s rooted in underground culture, giving rising artists and streetwear fans the chance to shape trends. It’s like a grassroots movement that speaks to what the younger crowd really wants.
Why so many young designers, including yourself, choose LA as their homebase?
LA’s got everything you need, from production to getting the word out. There are custom manufacturers aplenty and major influencers calling this place home, which means you can get things done fast. Plus, that “Made in LA” tag? It’s like a stamp of quality, perfect for someone starting out like me. And sure, other places might offer cheaper production, but with all the supply chain hiccups, it’s hard to guarantee quality, especially for smaller brands like mine.
What’s next for you?
Well, I’m all about breaking boundaries and bridging the gap between luxury and streetwear. I want to bring high-end fashion down to earth, you know? Capturing that GenZ spirit where being real beats being exclusive. I’ll keep injecting personality and a bit of rebellion into my future collections. Time to turn heads and challenge what the fashion world thinks is standard.
