Dashingly Elegant 1937 Bugatti Type 57C Roadster

This exquisite Bugatti Type 57C Roadster from 1937 is undoubtedly one of the most exceptional classic automobiles in existence, which is why it will probably fetch a very good price during the RM Auctions event that will take place in Amelia Island, Florida this March.

This very special model was created in just 20 examples thanks to a collaboration between Bugatti and a coachbuilder named Carrosserie Vanvooren. However, this car was so much more than a mere convertible version of its base model, especially since it received an impressive engine upgrade in the form of a 3.3-liter straight-eight that was able to dish out no less than 175 horsepower. As you can probably imagine, this meant that the Bugatti Type 57C Roadster was officially one of the fastest cars in the world in its prime due to its ability to reach speeds of up to 120 mph.

Unfortunately, we have no information regarding an official target price for this superb car, but due to its exclusivity and heritage, we expect it to be worth at least $500,000.
