Copper Beech Farm – The Most Expensive Estate in the US

Listed at $190 million, the 50-acre Copper Beech Farm in Greenwich, Connecticut, is the new most expensive estate in the US. The property is populated with copper beech trees, as its name suggests, and it includes 4,000 feet of waterfront and an apple orchard. The main house offers 13,500 square feet of space and boasts glassed-in porches and large windows that take in plenty of natural light, while also affording wonderful views.

This is a Victorian-style home with 12 foot ceilings and a total of 12 bedrooms. It was constructed in 1896 and it has a number of beautifully carved fireplaces and only luxe finished throughout. Even though the property is over a century old, it has only had two owners. It comes with a tennis court, a guest cottage, two greenhouses, a clock tower, a wine cellar and two swimming pools.
