Convertible 2013 Range Rover Autobiography

Convertible SUVs are quite a challenge for automakers, and to our delight, the challenge has been fully accepted by a couple of brands already. The latest such project comes from Range Rover, who has created the 2013 Autobiography with a removable soft top.

You’ve probably already fallen in love with the droptop Evoque, whose production is still under debate. Well, this new baby is larger, bulkier, and has four doors, which means that there is always a little structure remaining over the shoulder line, even when the top is lowered. Somehow whenever we look at it, we already see ourselves on a safari adventure.

The thing with almost all SUVs is that when you want to turn them into topless rides, the design poses serious challenges. It’s definitely easier with box-like cars, such as the Land Rover defender or the Jeep Wrangler. We have no doubt, however, that there will be enough customers for convertible SUVs in the future.
