Water Patio House is a beautiful 7,804 square foot residence in Odessa, Ukraine. It was completed in 2007 by Drozdov & Partners on a property that overlooks the Black Sea from a steep plateau. The building’s position on the given plot was determined by the owners’ desire to preserve as many of the original trees as possible. Also, their wish was to have wide, uninterrupted panoramas from the house to the garden and the sea.
As the name of the residence suggests, water is the main element of the project. Reflecting the beauty of the sea there are two pools on the site: one for indoor swimming and one for outdoor fun. The two can be connected when the season and warm temperatures allow it. Closed and private if looked at from the street, the house opens beautifully towards the garden vistas, inviting dwellers outside.
Luxuriously appointed, the Water Patio House features a cinema, a wellness zone with hammam, sauna and pool, a garage, generous living and entertaining spaces, a large master bedroom, two guest rooms, and everything else needed for a comfortable modern lifestyle.
