The Hotel Villa was built in a tourist area, on a historic heritage monument, on the first street in Yessod Hammala, Israel. This deluxe property designed by Uri Cohen Architects, can become a luxury hotel or some other commercial point.
Although the facades of the historical building have been preserved, there is also an element of novelty: the ‘floating box’ concept, above the ground floor. This offers both shade and protection for the living space on the ground floor, but also an outside living area. Supported by stone fences, the ‘box’ maintains the ambience of the street, at the same time protecting this historic heritage monument.
