Contemporary San Lorenzo North Residence in Portugal

Read Time:37 Second

Completed this year by de Blacam and Meagher Architects, this contemporary private home is called San Lorenzo North. It seems to emerge directly from the perfectly manicured lot on which it stands. A series of rectangular volumes rises gradually, forming a beautiful and welcoming home. You can find it in in Quinta do Lago, Portugal.

The road-facing side of the building is rather closed to ensure privacy, while the south-facing façade on the opposite side is open towards the courtyard and outdoor living area. One feature that really stands out is the double-height portico, which ensures protection from the hot sun. We also really like the alfresco dining area and the nearby swimming pool with beautiful tiling.
