Designed by Hyla Architects, this beautiful contemporary home in Singapore represents a smart solution to the restrictions of a very narrow plot. Since the building could not follow a traditional horizontal evolution, it had to “grow” on a vertical axis. The result is a tall, towering residence that emerges from a lovely intimate garden.
The sleek, modern architecture of the house is reflective of the fresh contemporary design movement in Singapore. A spiraling glass staircase connects the pool/lounge/garden area with the upper levels that make up the actual living spaces. Tall and narrow, this is an inspiring project indeed.
