House in Rocafort is a wonderful contemporary home in Valencia, Spain. It was designed by Ramon Esteve Studio on a quite challenging plot shape in a residential area. The entire project revolves around the expressive interplay of shapes and light. Every space was designed to facilitate a harmonious relationship between the two.
The indoor-outdoor relationship is another aspect that played a significant role in the development of the house.The architects tried to create a seamless transition from inside to outside by extending the house’s skin beyond its walls and into the surrounding area.
In order to somehow bring the outdoors inside, Ramon Esteve Studio gave the residence huge windows and glass doors. This way dwellers can feel visually connected to the courtyard, the pool, the outdoor living and entertaining area, and every space around the house.
