Caterham is usually associated with track-ready vehicles that will rip your head off in an instant if you’re not a professional driver. However, the Caterham Seven 620S is more of a tamed beast, as it was designed to be driven on regular roads as well. It boasts an aluminum body as well as a composite nosecone, and its overall design blends classic aesthetics with contemporary features.
The interior arrangements are minimalistic for the most part. They include carbon fiber trimmings, leather adornments, racing seats and a Momo steering wheel that adds a sporty touch. The power comes from a 2.0-liter Ford Duratec engine that’s good for 161 lb-ft of torque and 310 horsepower, all of which are kept in line by a five-speed manual gearbox and a light flywheel. The drivetrain ensures a 0 to 60 mph sprint time of just 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 145 mph. Power and great looks come at a price though, about $64,000 to be more precise.
