Churchill’s 1939 Daimler to Be Auctioned Off

Churchills 1939 Daimler to Be Auctioned Off

Not only valuable due to its history and age, this 1939 Daimler DB18 Drophead Coupé is also really good looking, even today. The car was once owned by Winston Churchill and he took a couple of rides with it during and after the World War I.

Now Historics at Brooklands auction house plans to sell it for £200,000 – £250,000 (that is  $325,000 – $400,000 in our money). The auction will take place on December 4, and we shouldn’t be surprised if the car will fetch even more than first estimated. After all, Churchill’s dentures sold for £40,000!

It is important to mention that only eight such cars were made and this is probably the last remaining one. The 1939 Daimler flaunts an elegant black and silver finish, while inside a dark green leather compliments the wooden dashboard.
