From 24 to 31 March, Baselworld 2011 will open its doors to reveal the latest trends and innovations in watches and jewels. One of the highlights of the show will be the 21 Blackjack by Christophe Claret, a watch that is specially created to allure casino lovers. Not only does it show time with great precision, but it also offers some miniature entertainment: dice, cards and roulette.
The luxury watch features a pair of really small dice (1.5mm each side), a card game (including the bell ring) and a roulette on the back, with a visible rotor as its wheel. The whole thing is powered by an automatic movement featuring 40 jewels, 501 parts, 7 double ceramic ball bearing mechanisms and a power reserve of 72 hours. You can choose the black PVD-treated titanium case, the gray titanium one, or the more precious versions made of 18 carat white or pink gold. Prices are around €200,000.
