Cathay Pacific’s business class has just gotten better! The company acquired eight 777 Freighters and four 777-300ER aircrafts from Boeing for a whopping $3.3 billion and made them available for Asia-U.S. travel. Their business class is simply stunning, so let us take a sneak peek at it.
Wing-back chairs offer each passenger a perfectly comfortable flight, in a very private area hidden from the other passengers by a wall. Being dedicated to business travelers, the cabin features power outlets, a USB port for Blackberry smartphones and an iPod/iPhone connector that allows users to watch stuff on a personal TV. For a little entertainment, there are video games, almost 100 free movies and a full music library available for all passengers.
The luggage compartment too is special, boasting “personal storage units”, including a shoe locker, a storage locker at the base of the seat with Velcro strap and a net (perfect for keeping the laptop safe) and a side storage locker with vanity mirror, suitable for storing books, handbags, valuables, makeup, water and other things.
