Set to become available in May 2016, the Drive de Cartier timepiece collection was unveiled at SIHH 2016, and it was inspired in its design by automobiles. Available in 18-carat pink gold or steel, the case houses a brass black, white or grey guilloche dial, as well as a transparent caseback that shows off the Cartier Manufacture movement 1904 MC in its entire splendor.
Speaking of the movement, it was created in 2010 and is available in two self-winding mechanical versions. The first one is the calibre 1904-PS MC, while the other is named calibre 1904-FU MC. However, this brand new collection also includes a Drive de Cartier Flying Tourbillon watch, which is powered by a manual-winding 9452 MC movement. Depending on the version, these timepieces are accompanied by black or brown alligator leather straps and pink gold or steel deployment buckles
