Cadillac Elmiraj Concept Unveiled at Pebble Beach

The new Elmiraj concept carries on the mature, elegant and bold character of Cadillac cars in a fascinating new manner. Unveiled at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the vehicle has charmed everyone at the event and has made us all hope it would one day see a way towards the production lines.

The American luxury automaker, however, did not present the concept as a preview of an upcoming model, but rather as the embodiment of key features that will make it onto future cars. Its silhouette is sultry and sophisticated, featuring clean lines, beautiful curves, a long hood, a small rear deck, vertical LED lighting elements, and oversized 22-inch wheels.

For the interior, Cadillac used caramel-colored leather, beautifully contrasting titanium trims and fallen Brazilian Rosewood accents. Lighting is discreet, but strategically placed for a grand effect. To ensure optimum comfort to all four passengers, the rear seats recline and boast the “valet feature”. This means that the front seat can rise 10 inches, making room for the rear seat to move 4 inches forward and welcome the rear passenger.

Under the hood Cadillac put a 4.5-liter V8 engine with twin turbochargers, an all-new creation expected to put out 500 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque. With this motorization, the 4,000-pound coupe should be capable of quite impressive speeds to match its amazing looks.
