More and more companies have started manufacturing electric bicycles, but when it comes to electric mountain bikes, the numbers are considerably lower. However, a company named Bultaco has decided to take on the challenge of putting together an electric dirt bike, and their Brinco model has certainly surpassed all expectations.
Representing a blend between a mountain bike and a motorcycle, this two-wheeler comes with two pedals, disk brakes and 9 speeds. It is powered by a brushless motor that gets its juice from a 1.3kWh battery, which delivers 2kW of power. This ensures a top speed of 38 miles per hour, which is definitely decent for an e-bike. Bultaco’s Brinco also comes with three different riding modes named Eco (pedal assist for up to 50 miles), Touring (top speed of 25 mph) and Sport.
Quite a steal for just $4,800, wouldn’t you agree?
