Breguet’s Tradition Automatique Seconde Rétrograde 7097 Watch

Swiss luxury watch manufacturer Breguet decided to expand its already impressive Tradition collection of watches by adding the Tradition Automatique Seconde Rétrograde 7097 piece. The piece comes with a 40mm 18-carat rose gold or white gold case, which boasts a fluted caseband, welded lugs with screw bars and double sapphire crystals that ensure utmost protection from the elements.

The case shelters Breguet’s own caliber 505SR1 movement that flaunts an operating frequency of 21,600 vph as well as a 50-hour power reserve and 38 jewels. The 18-carat gold dial is off-centered at 12 o’clock and is complemented by a retrograde semi-dial at 10 o’clock. The retrograde seconds hand and the hours and minutes hands were made using beautiful blue steel. The 4 o’clock mark is occupied by the timepiece’s pare-chute, which is one of Breguet’s most appreciated inventions as it helps protect the piece from damage.

Finally, the Tradition Automatique Seconde Rétrograde 7097 is held onto the wearer’s wrist thanks to an elegant black leather strap and a gold deployant.
