Bonaparte’s Wine Glass to Be Auctioned Off in London

Interested in owning a piece of history? This exquisite wine glass is thought to have belonged to the famous Napoleon Bonaparte and it can now be part of your precious collection of antiques. On June 15, Bonhams will present this unique glass at their Fine British and European Glass and Paperweights sale in New Bond Street, London.

The lot will be sold with its wooden case, coated in red leather, and with a handwritten note, saying: “Wine Glass of 1st Emperor Napoleon given to James C.Fyler Esqr. by the Count Strasoldo Governor of Elba in 1818 A.D.” Its price starts at $3,277.
