Designed by Portuguese architect Bernardo Rodrigues, the “House on the Flight of Birds” is a stunning modern residence completed in 2010. It is located in Ribeira Grande on Sao Miguel island of the Azores Archipelago, Portugal. Here the climate is windy and rainy, so the main concern of the architect was to create a house that could withstand these weather conditions.
Large windows open it to the exterior world, but the home also features some much needed private areas on the upper floor. Both inside and outside, the residence boasts modern design and architecture cues that are definitely worthy of admiration.
