Beautiful Daniel’s Lane Residence on Long Island

Daniel’s Lane Residence is an amazing Blaze Makoid Architecture project, located in in Sagaponack, New York. With breathtaking open views towards the ocean, the Long Island contemporary home is exquisite many ways. The American architecture firm that made it always strives to create timeless designs that look wonderful now and which will continue to be relevant design-wise for many decades to come.

This is an excellent example of their work, the residence oozing a quiet elegance and a very alluring simplicity. The client wanted a home that would not feel “busy” and which would have no extraneous elements either. The contemporary building is set on a one-acre narrow lot and it features two floors with various box-like volumes and cantilevering surfaces that ensure dynamism to the design.

The ocean side of the house is very open, featuring huge windows and glass walls and inviting plenty of natural light inside. The living, dining and kitchen area open directly towards the outdoor patio and pool, thus encouraging a permanent connection and a seamless flow from inside to outside and back.
