Batmobile Replica Auctioned Off by Historics at Brooklands

Batman-related items never go out of style, especially the vintage ones. Recently, a UK auction house named Historics at Brooklands auctioned off a superb Batmobile replica for £72,800, which is about $118,000.

The fortunate bidder took home an incredible replica of the famed Batmobile driven by Michael Keaton in Tim Burton’s “Batman Returns” film from 1989. The car in question is powered by a 3.2-liter Jaguar engine and boasts automatic transmission. As expected, the car has a few special tricks up its sleeve such as front and rear cameras, LED running lights and some very impressive flame throwing capabilities. The vehicle also flaunts a smoke-release mechanism as well as hydraulic suspension that can lift the body by up to 9 inches off the ground.
