Family cruising yachts are plentiful nowadays, but finding an all-carbon cruiser can definitely be a challenge. Fortunately, Baltic Yachts has launched its sublime custom-built cruiser/racer named Nikata, which is capable of reaching an impressive top speed of 28 knots. In February 2016, the vessel is scheduled to compete in the Caribbean 600 race hosted by the Royal Ocean Racing Club. However, despite its sporty and performance-orientated design, this cruiser can also be used for relaxing joy rides across the world’s most beautiful seas.
Whether it’s engaged in an exciting race or it’s gliding peacefully across the waves, Nikata is quiet as a whisper and incredibly comfortable thanks to its lightweight foam-cored cabinetry that was built entirely by hand. Its sound proofed interior is also a big plus, not to mention its sizeable central skylight and lavish accommodations for up to 8 guests and crewmembers. As far as interior adornments are concerned, they are mostly based on linen covered upholstery, complex glass panels and beautifully colored fabrics.
