Boasting a relatively powerful 3.0-liter straight-six engine, the standard BMW M2 offers an output of 370 horsepower, but it looks like these figures can definitely be boosted further as proven by a company named Mcchip. Its experts managed to modify the engine accordingly in order to obtain an output of 445 horsepower and 442 lb ft of torque – higher figures than an M4 can provide.
The tuner also put together a brand new intercooler, which could bring up the figures to 450 horsepower and 509 lb-ft of torque. The entire tuning package would set customers back about $9,000, which is a reasonable sum considering the advantages.
