Audi Announces Official Price for the New 2014 RS7

As a fierce competitor to the BMW M6 Gran Coupe, the new RS7 from Audi has officially announced its price. The highly anticipated five-door coupe is $8,100 cheaper than the M6 Gran Coupe, which makes us very curious about how much the yet-to-be-launched CLS63 AMG 4Matic from Mercedes-Benz will cost.

So exactly how much will you have to shell out for a brand new 2014 Audi RS7? Well, if you go for the standard version, then $104,900 (shipping fee not included) will be enough, but something tells us that since you’re in the market for a six-figure ride, standard versions will not exactly meet your taste.

Price-wise we definitely like the car, but there is much more to it than that. The RS7 boasts an excellent 0-60 mph time of only 3.7 seconds, which comes from matching a twin-turbocharged, 4.0-literV8 engine capable of 560 hp with the automaker’s Quattro all-wheel drive system. And just for the sake of comparison, the M6 Gran Coupe is 0.4 seconds slower than that.
