One of the latest masterpieces created by Swiss watchmaker Audemars Piguet is the Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar, which boasts the phenomenal all-black look that we’ve come to expect and love from Audemars Piguet’s most important pieces. Featuring a matte black brushed ceramic bracelet as well as a ceramic case, the timepiece is almost scratchproof, and it can withstand high temperatures and thermal shocks without too many issues.
The “Grande Tapisserie” dial showcases a moonphase complication complemented by black registers, while the case houses a caliber 5134 movement. The case required more than 600 hours of hard work in order to be researched and developed, and the bracelet needed no less than 30 hours of polishing, hand finishing and assembling.
