Before manufacturing the special vehicle, the automaker conducted a series of polls, asking its fans for suggestions of names, trims and designs for the car.
This special edition Aston Martin may not be the most attractive car you’ve ever seen, but it does have some really great features. These include 20-inch diamond-turned alloy wheels, an Aero wrap, black brake calipers, and a nice interior, according to its manufacturers. There are no available photos of the car’s cabin, but reports say that the upholstery is Obsidian Black/Spicy Red leather with piano black trims.
In terms of performance and power, the DB9 1M is not different from the standard version of the car. It is powered by a 6.0-liter V12 engine that can put out 470 hp and 443 lb-ft of maximum torque. This power is transmitted to the wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission, which ensures a 0 to 62 mph time of 4.8 seconds, and a maximum speed of 186 mph.
