AsomBroso “The Collaboration” Tequila

It’s not often that we get to witness the creation of an entirely new tequila sub-class, but that’s exactly what AsomBroso Tequila managed to do by releasing the AsomBroso “The Collaboration”. The sub-class is named Ultra-Premium Double Barrel Rested Anejo, and it is definitely as important as it sounds. After resting within Silver Oak American Oak barrels for 11 years, this outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon Anejo was placed within a superb crystal decanter created by none other than Luciano Gambaro.

The decanter is comes packaged within a polished humidor that sits on a laser-engraved podium, so as you can probably tell by now, presentation is a pretty big deal for this particular product. “The Collaboration” costs $1,800 and ensures access to The Agave Club, which features Tequila 101 classes among other bonuses. The beverage itself flaunts notes of butterscotch, caramel, oak and honey, and it looks absolutely divine due to its elegant chocolate finish.
