With his new home away from home trailer, Ashton Kutcher’s time as a new Two and a Half Men character is going to be a lot of fun! For the new season of the sitcom, Charlie Sheen will be replaced by Kutcher, whose character will become the new owner of Charlie Harper’s Malibu estate.
While his character will live in a fake home, Ashton Kutcher will enjoy an real villa on wheels, aptly called a “mobile estate”, not a trailer or caravan. Boasting a total space of 1100 square feet, the home is 53 feet long and 13’6” high. When the retractable top is opened, the height of the trailer reaches 17 feet. The 30-ton luxury house has two floors: the main lower one offers 603 square feet of space and the upper one boasts another 340 square feet. This makes the caravan larger than many ordinary homes out there.
The upper floor goes down in just 30 seconds and all the furniture inside is custom made to collapse and allow the roof to descend. Even the stairs that connect the two levels are foldable. The list of amenities is really impressive and it includes a lovely living area, 2 bathrooms, bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen and a conference room. Seven 60-inch 3D plasma TV sets complete the luxe picture.
For maximum security, the mobile estate has got several cameras installed in different corners outside. Whenever someone gets close to the vehicle, the cameras capture their face and shows them on the inside screens. Moreover, when the guest rings the doorbell, the volume of the sound system automatically drops down and Kutcher can check the screens to see who is on his doorstep.
These outstanding luxury trailers from Anderson Mobile Estates cost a staggering $2 million, but can also be rented for $8,750 a week. At least that’s how much Ashton Kutcher is paying for his awesome caravan.
