It’s always a pleasure to take a peek at the personal homes of successful architects. But we’ve never seen anything like this one before: a real castle, surrounded by a lake-like moat. Belonging to Charles Sieger of Sieger Suarez, the residence is characterized by perfect symmetry and majestic grandeur.
Elegant black gates mark the entry on the property and then a long pathway, flanked by carefully manicured hedges and trees, leads you towards the bridge and then over to the imposing castle. Aerial views show a beautiful river flowing on the edge of the property like a natural border. All the pictures below are spectacular, even those that show the work in progress on the site. The Sieger Residence also appears in Birdman’s video called Fire Flame.
