The first limited edition Peugeot RCZ sports car was launched in September 2009 and it was an instant success. One year after that, a new special version of the 2010 model year is here: the Peugeot RCZ Asphalt Edition. It looks like the French automaker really liked the taste of success and decided to keep it on their lips for as long as possible, by bringing another star to the show.
The Asphalt edition is painted in Noir Telluric matte black and it rolls on 19-inch blackened silver alloys. The same color was chosen for the inside, as you’ve probably already guessed. There are only 500 such “black pearls” and customers will receive “Asphalt” logos on their rides as a proof of authenticity.
We are sorry to announce the fact that no engine upgrades have been made for this edition, so buyers will have to be happy with the 1.6 liter THP engine delivering 200 hp. If this doesn’t affect you negatively and you still want the car, then it’s settled: €35,500 (about $50,000) and the car is yours!
