Located on the Isle of Capri in Gold Coast city, Australia, this beautiful modern residence was made by Bayden Goddard Design Architects. It is called the Amalfi Residence, and it is a two-story river front home especially designed for young active family.
For the construction of this house BGD Architects experimented with different materials including recycled timber, off-form concrete and polished concrete, honed and polished stones, glass and more. The living areas of the house are located on the lower level and they are characterized by openness and luminosity. From here, the 25-meter (82-foot) lap pool is easily accessible.
The upper floor holds the more private areas, with the kids’ and adults’ zones divided in two wings. The master suite boasts an open-style bathroom and gorgeous river and skyline views. See more of this amazing residence in Australia in the following photos.
