Alienware’s 2014 Area 51 Gaming Desktop By Is A Beast

When it comes to gaming PC’s, looks are sometimes just as important as the specs, but if you don’t want to go through all the trouble of picking out your own parts and building your own desktop, you can always get a beastly one from Alienware. Alienware products, whether we’re talking about desktops or notebooks, have always been famous for their “out of this world” looks, but the new 2014 Area 51 gaming desktop is definitely in a league of its own.

This state-of-the-art gaming system is powered by Intel’s new Extreme Edition Core i7 microprocessors, and it can house up to 3 graphic cards at once. That’s a lot of firepower but none of it will go to waste considering the high demands of 4k gaming. As far as looks are concerned, the classic tower case was replaced by an exquisite trapezoid-shaped one dubbed Triad, and aside from looking purely spectacular, this shape also brings certain advantages regarding airflow and ease of access.

Featuring Intel’s X99 chipset, the Area 51 gaming desktop is able to support DDR4 memory, which is a lot faster compared to the current DDR3. You can keep an eye out for this beastly machine starting October.
