Want a Bugatti Veyron but you don’t exactly have $1.5 million to spend on it? Here’s a nice alternative from Mike Duff, a 25 years old American car passionate. He took a 2002 Mercury Cougar and methodically transformed it into a beautiful replica of the fastest car in the world.
After nine months of intensive hard work, the exterior of the car looks exactly like that of a genuine Veyron, and the interior is all dressed-up in leather. Of course, Duff could not also squeeze the outstanding performance that the original Veyron boasts out of this ride’s engine. The car only has 170 horsepower and a 2.5-liter V6 engine.
The upside of owning this replica is that operating the good-looking car will cost you significantly less than the real thing. Buying the vehicle is also much easier, as it’s priced at only $89,000. If you want this sleek Bugatti-like Mercury Cougar, you should move fast, as it will only be available on eBay untill July 29.
