The tragedy surrounding the Titanic sold well in books, movies and memorabilia. One such expensive Titanic-related item was a 33ft replica of the ship, created in 1912, to help the inquiry about its sinking. Recently, it broke the sales record with the amazing price of £220,000 ($362,920). The British Board of Trade had previously estimated that it would sell for £150,000 ($247,445).
