M.A.S.S. Electric Bicycle Collection

In a world where fuel reserves are dropping and population figures are rising, we’re forced to come up with innovative solutions for personal transportation, and fortunately, we don’t have to look very far. Bicycles have always been popular with fitness enthusiasts but people who are used to driving everywhere may find it difficult to pedal for more than a few miles. To address the issue, French designer Philippe Starck collaborated with an electric bicycle manufacturer named Moustache Bikes in order to create the stunning M.A.S.S. collection, which features a great selection of e-bikes suited for plenty of terrain types.

The electric motors that power these bicycles get their juice from Bosch lithium-ion batteries that weigh about 5.3 pounds and require about 3.5 hours in order to become fully charged. Afterwards, you’re good to go for about 18 miles, which is nothing to sneeze at considering the fact that you’ll be pedaling casually for the duration of the ride. The motor flaunts 5 different operating modes named eco, sport, tour, walk assist or turbo. Regular M.A.S.S. bikes can reach a top speed of 15.5 mph. However, the adventurous types might want to have a look at the Asphalt model, since this one can go all the way up to 28 mph.
