Stretching over 1,400 square feet, the Lily Street House is a remarkable contemporary house by ODR Architects and Life Space Journey. Located in Melbourne, Australia, the residence combines traditional and contemporary traits in one spectacular project.
While the traditional wooden fence encasing the house gives it a modest character, the strikingly large “32” number painted in white on the dark wall, brings a unique boldness to the house’s stance. Contrasts continue with the choice of interior and exterior colors: the black box-like shapes that compose the exterior clashes with the bright interiors, where the dominant color is white.
All the furnishings exude style and help create an inviting ambiance. Our favorite feature of this beautiful residence is the way wildlife is integrated into the luminous inside spaces. Having access to fresh, green grass all the time must be really nice.
