2013 Audi RS4 Avant to Reach the Market Soon

Official details on the 2013 Audi RS4 Avant have finally emerged! According to the automaker’s press release, the new long roof will flaunt 450 horsepower and 317 pound-foot of torque coming from a naturally-aspirated 4.2-liter V8. This power reaches all four wheels incredibly fast, thanks to the 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. As a result, the new car can go from 0 to 60 mph in only 4.7 seconds, and then continue to accelerate to the maximum speed of 174 mph.

For a little bit of extra appeal, the vehicle features new wave-design disc brakes, electromechanical power steering system, a low stance (1 inch lower than that of the A4 Avant), large stabilizer bars, and a quick 16:4 steering rack. Of course, there are also several options available for the new RS4, but that all depends on how high your expectations and how deep your pockets are. Options include a sport rear differential, ceramic stoppers, and more. The MSRP for Germany (where it will make its debut this fall) is €76,600 (about $96,000).
