zecOO Electric Bike Ready for Production

zecOO Electric Bike (2)

A new zero-emissions motorcycle is now ready for production. Its country of origin is Japan, and its designer is Kota Nezu of Znug Design. It was unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show this spring in March, and even though it’s not a superbike, it still is quite impressive for an all electric motorcycle.

It is called the zecOO and it is capable of covering 55 to 85 miles on a single charge, taking it six hours to recharge. The top speed is 75 mph, which is pretty good even for outside-the-city drives. Rumor has it that the nature-friendly two wheeler will enter small scale production and it will sell for approximately $70,000 (6 million Yen).

It’s really nice to see so many eco consciousness among car and motorcycle manufacturers. We can’t wait to see more models with extra power, speed and mileage. The zecOO is another living proof of the fact that the high-end market can also be very green.
